Christopher Lloyd
Though frequently misidentified in the media as the Emmy-winning character actor of "Back to the Future" (1985) fame, Christopher Lloyd was a prolific writer-producer who nabbed numerous Emmys for his work on such iconic series as "Frasier" (NBC, 1996-2004) and "Modern Family" (ABC, 2009- ). Like his equally celebrated production partner Steve Levitan, Lloyd found the humor and the emotion at the core of family units brought together by blood or workplace; the combination of sparkling dialogue and heart he brought the aforementioned series, as well as "The Golden Girls" (NBC, 1985-1992), "Wings" (NBC, 1990-97) and other programs, made him one of the most respected creative figures in the business.
